Diwaker Agarwal Is a Successful Leader and MD in the Field of Radiology.
Diwkaer Agarwal is a Radiologist with a passion for excellence. Having most recently served as a Senior Partner in a high-volume Radiology Private Practice – Mercy Medical Center – Diwaker is known for his commitment to excellence and to do the things he loves to do with a sense of passion and drive.
In addition to his professional career, Diwkaer is passionate about photography. In fact, a love of visual storytelling was the catalyst behind both his love for photography and his professional career as a radiologist. “I’ve always loved images, and that’s one of the things that got me into the field of radiology when I was looking at different medical careers.”
This passion for images that manifests itself in his work in the medical community – earning him the nomination of “Physician of the Year” during his time at Mercy Medical Center – is seen manifested in his passion for photography.
“Photography is excellent because it facilitates travel. You don’t just want to take pictures of the same thing over and over, so it almost necessitates that you get outside of your comfort zone,” Diwaker continues. “It also allows you to connect with people in a way you may not otherwise have the ability to.”
In addition to his photography, Diwaker loves staying healthy and active, running being one of his favorite ways to do that. He also loves getting in the kitchen and experimenting with some tasty dishes. “Cooking is a lot of fun for me and it’s also a nice relaxing hobby from the hustle and bustle that comes with my career.”
Diwaker is a graduate of King George’s Medical University and a licensed and certified Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology. From there, went on to an internship at King George’s and a Residency in Radiology from Maharani Laxmi Medical College and an Internal Medicine Residency at Westlake Community Hospital. After that, Diwaker trained at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, Baystate Medical Center, and a Fellowship in Body Imaging at North Shore University Hospital.
